Break up?
[
] February 13, 2006
[EDIT]Thanks so much for all your comments on my condition. Special thanks to TED for you kind donation. In addition [drama-panties.org] is now for sale. Please email me if you are interested, the current offer is $9[/EDIT]
It's looking pretty bad. I'm not going to explain details of the spat but lets just say it got to the point where I everything is in circles and nothing improves. It's not a matter of pride for me, I just don't see improvment. Perhaps he needs time to grow up a little more, and perhaps it's time for me to "find myself".
If we don't break up, I sincerely hope there will be changes and improvements. I don't want my relationship to be anything like my parents and that's where I saw it going during our fight. I don't want to be like that. I don't want to resort to name calling, insulting, defacing property because that will ultimately lead to hitting.
If he doesn't reach to me to make amends by Valentine's Day, I'm getting smashed with a bunch of friend's that night to start anew. I'm hoping to cancel those plans though. Wish me luck because the next time you hear from me, I will either be undergoing major self-reflection in our relatioship, be single, or dead (If I'm lucky hopfully the latter).
[LATER EDIT]Dave and I discuss our relationship for 3 hours straight. We've decided to stay together and try to work at things. Everything is not peachy keen but major changes are planned. These include seriously talking through arguments instead of escalating our voices and resorting to physical solutions, respect or leave, and making a pact about doing something romantic for each other at least once every week. It's going to be like a trial for the next month or so, hopefully things will be ok.
What saved us? A love contract he wrote when we were drunk and signed.
Dear Yvonne, (long mushy love letter) I know that you will think I'm drunk you told me (letters trailing sideways and off the page) that you were ever so in love with me & I was in love (rest is illedgible). TERMS: WE LOVE EACH OTHER (followed by VERY messy signatures).[/LATER EDIT]

Marley
[
] March 26, 2006
Meet Marley, David's sister's kitten. XD I guess he's our nephew, figuretively speaking. He's a boy, 2 months old adopted from the Humane Society. He as from a litter of strays. Isis does NOT like him at all and will hiss and growl at the poor little guy. But Marley always think she's playing haha.

Dave and I also went out for a romantic dinner and the conversation came to the point where we are going onto 5 years in out relationship. We both sat back and I asked "Are we bored of each other yet?" ... "Hell no!"

Bathroom Politics
[
] March 30, 2006
Yay I'm done with exams! My summer has started but I'll have to work *sigh*
I was rushing to my exam today but I had to take a piss very badly. I went into the stalls and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was the most disgusting thing I have everseen.
Seriously, girls, it's not rocket science. SIT on the seat or put toilet paper on it.
Nothing is more repulsive and unladylike than walking in a seeing piss all over the seat and floor.
Secondly, if you have your PERIOD, clean it up and throw it in the disposal box. The floor is not a place for menstral streaks. Thirdly, IF YOU SHIT, FLUSH IT.
Another thing that irritates the hell out of me are the scribbles in the stalls that read "NO ADS" or "PISS IN PEACE". <_< What. The. Hell. I am quite thankful or any sort of reading material in my stall, thanks. The whining and bitching, complaining and spazzing about advertisements in stalls have to stop. How can I respect your opinion if you are defacing school property with your pencil/pen/marker (you hypocrites) while your panties are down to your ankles?
Instead of scribbling on the door, take that time to piss INTO the bowl please.

Dog Lady
[
] April 5, 2006
I work at an after school care center. It's a nice warn spring day and taking the kids outside for air is a must. But picture a sudden disruption when a lady speed her car in THROUGH the parking lot and INTO the playground pavement where the children are playing ball.
She lets her big dog out unleashed and the first thing it does is run AT the kids. You have alittle boy terrified of dogs, burst out crying, the girls screaming and the kid with DOG ALLERGIES hiding behind you. Of course one of the staff went up to tell her to put her dog on the leash and remove her car. So what does she do? Walks the dog out into the field and releases it again.
It runs at another group of our kids, the youngest ones who scream and run from it. "It's friendly" she says "It listens to me" she says. IT DOESN'T MATTER. It is school property, it's a safetly issue and it's ILLEGAL.
I don't care how much you love your dog, it's ILLEGAL. What is worse is that her dog shit twice on the field and she didn't even pick it up. I am more than pissed with ignorant dog owners. I had an incident like this before where the dog TRAMPLED a 5 year old child. There are children who are severely allergic to dogs and can go into cardiac arrest, so when your dog kills a kid and gets put down, a charge for murder will be the last thing on your mind.
The kids copied her licence plate and the cops were called and they went to her house to give her a stern warning.

R.I.P

I'm sorry my domain was down, I had forgotten to renew it. *dies* Rest assured iGloe.NET is not going anywhere!!
In other news, David's grandmother passed away and they were very close as was I and many others. The past week has been non-stop tears for David and so I tried to be the best support I could be. When David went up and read the eulogy, it was so touching and genuine that he himself had stopped to sob. Emily, his younger sister read a beautiful poem and when she cried everyone did.
She had cancer, and diabetes so when the heartattack and stroke hit her, her body felt like it was time to end the pain and suffering and she passed during the reading of her Last Rights. We had got there a few minutes to late and as we walked into the room, David put his hand over his mouth and rushed to her bedside in tears.
But where David loses a life close to his heart, he had saved another. We had gone down for some food at the Hospital Country Style and went outside for some fresh air. An old woman in a wheelchair was off in the grass with a watch dog. The dog began barking and two nurses ran out moments later. One of the nurses yelled out "She has a weak pulse, get help!"
The other nurse started to run (but not fast enough). David darted into the hospital and grabbed a Cardiologist and a Nuerologist nearby and they ran out. As we headed in, we heard the hospital call "CODE BLUE CODE BLUE" (meaning her heart had stopped). Minutes later, David joined us and said that they had saved her.
But if David hadn't gotten the help as quick as he did, that woman may have died as well.
I am so proud of him for being so strong.
More sad news however, some friends and family had decided to adopt the dog, and Isis but Marley will have to go back to the Humane Society. Not because no one wants him, because our houses are already too full. I will miss Marley so much because he was such a playful kitten, but I am sure with that personality, he will find a good home. I will also miss the lively and youthful attributes of David's Grandmother and I know that she meant a lot to him. Rest in Peace, Doreen.

Speeding Ticket
[
] April 20, 2006
I got my first speeding ticket today.
Bleh. I have mixed feelings about it. I am somewhat proud because I'd rather be known as a speed demon than a fast-lane-slow-driver. The officer was nice and made my charge much less than it actually was so my fine was only about $50. I don't want to get too smug because it may come back to bite me in the ass, but I will be saving it as somewhat of a trophy.
When I got to work, my co-workers (and boss) gave me a sympathy card regarding the death of Dave's Gram. I was very touched and each had thoughtful messages and I'll be forwarding the card to Dave. I like working in this field, co-operation and social relationships are important and valued between staff members and I've appreciated that.
I'll be trying my best to cheer my hunny up and hopefully soon we will be able to bake some chocolate chip cookies together.

Tamagotchi Connection V3
[
] April 24, 2006
These little guys are making a comeback! Sold out everywhere! The guy at Wal-Mart said "They are like gold."

I remember way back when I was little, I begged and begged my mom for a Dinky Dino (cost $50 then). A few years later, I saw them in the Dollar Store. Then the Tamagotchi craze swept over and I went to a temple picnic and they were giving them away for FREE.
Now newer versions have come out and you can have babies with your friend's Tamagotchis and play together! Many of the kids I work with have one or more of these things which conned me into getting one of my own. What is it about these things that are so addictive? I'm sure many of you out there had one of these. I had Tamagotchi (Angelgotchi), Dinky Dino, Nano Babies, Nano Fighters (and a few other japanese ones!).
Goodbye Wet-Myself-Dolls, Hello Interactive-Virtual-Pets!

5 Year Anniversary
[
] June 20, 2006
It was 5 years ago today that I quickly finished my History exam and waited for you outside the classroom. It was 5 years ago today that you asked me to be your girlfriend. It was 5 years ago today that I said yes to a relationship that showed me love, fear, reassurance, friendship, confidence, shelter, and thought.
I never thought we would've gotten this far and I'm glad we did. We've had heated fights and arguements fueling our passionate ***.
And yes, we had and still have a zillion questions and anxieties about our future. But one thing I know for certain is that I do not regret one bit of it. It's through our trials and tribulations that we've grown into more mature young adults. We haven't finished our journey yet and I am not afraid as long as you are beside me.
Dave, I love you. I've used the word so frivolously in the past not knowing that love is fun, love is protective, love is comfort, and it is us.
I'm not sure when you will come across to read this, maybe never, maybe a while from now... But I really don't care if anyone thinks this is cheesy because I love you ... iloveyou, iloveyou, iloveyou and I could say it a million times over. One day, I'm going to have your babies, and finally cook something edible for you because as much of a spazz wild child I am now, one day, I hope to be a schmexy wife and a good mother.
To think it all started because of a teacher's strike. But godamn, Dave, you are sexy.

Celebrating
[
] June 25, 2006
Dave had gotten up extra early and I had slept in. By the time I got up, he and I went to the store and got some ice cream. When we got back, he wouldn't let me go inside. Minutes later, he came back out with several bags and a smile. We got in the car and he drove around to confuse me
. We arrived at a familiar place and I realized it was our old high school "secret place".

We had a picnic on the cliff overlooking the beach. After that, we played some frisbee and we went down to another beach. We walked around for a while and then stopped brieflly at a children's park.
Dave's surprise day ended with us heading to Bear Hill. We trekked to the top and there was this log on fire. Some irresponsible morons lit it, and left it going. Dave poured what was left of our water on it and tried to put it out with sand but it was still going. Another family reached the top and they said they would call the local fire hall once they got back down. Before decending, Dave carved our initials on another log.

This was our most adventurous anniversary yet! Rest of images [here]
